“Like Jade Novah, she imparts her own personality in the places where she lets herself deviate from the original – when she cuts loose and freestyles vocal runs near the end, her smile widening as she goes, it's a little bit of magic.” ~ Rolling Stone Magazine

“Learn this name, parents: Riley Biederer. We predict your kids will be talking about her before long.”

Atlanta Journal Constitution

“When music icon Sir Elton John believes your good.....trust me, you're good.”
~ Ron Holland/Georgia Music Channel

“With the sass of Rihanna and the vocal range of Jo Jo, Riley’s bold beats and clever song lyrics celebrate a kind independence that could easily turn into an album of girl power-themed anthems.” ~ Ariela Kozin/Bestnewbands.com

“She’s poppy, she’s funky, but with a buck-load of finesse. With dropping this incredible debut EP, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato better get steppin’, ’cause Riley Biederer is the new pop sister in town!”

21 year old singer/songwriter Riley Biederer’s extensive resume belies her youth.   From her roots in the north suburbs of Atlanta (Cumming GA), her career has covered an impressive amount of ground for an artist her age.  She has caught the attention of and garnered accolades from Elton John, Katy Perry, Pharrell, Gwen Stefani, and Ludacris, Trey Songs, Akon and other prominent music executives.  Her sound is multi-dimensional, and can best be described as soul-infused pop, with broad range and near perfect pitch.   Riley has enjoyed singing since she was a young girl, and at 13 she picked up her first guitar and began writing songs.

By age 14, her local open mic performances drew strong local acclaim and quickly transitioned to paid three set performances in venues all over North Georgia. At Age 15, Grammy-winning producer Matt Still (Outkast, Elton John, BB King, Joss Stone, Lady Gaga, Patti LaBelle, Jewel) discovered her singing and songwriting talent on YouTube and took her to Elton John who immediately signed her to his international music management company Rocket Music (Elton John, Ed Sheeran). And the accolades kept coming for Biederer…Governor Nathan Deal presented her with the prestigious Georgia Music Hall of Fame’s “Bill Lowery Horizons Award” when she was 16.

Rocket Music was instrumental in providing Riley with opportunities to develop her songwriting and vocal skills, including extensive work with renowned Atlanta base vocal coach Jan Smith (Justin Bieber, Usher, Rob Thomas, Sugarland)  Her work with dozens of established writers and producers in Los Angeles, New York, Nashville, Atlanta, Canada and France led to her signing a publishing agreement on her 18th birthday with the world’s largest publishing company, Sony/ATV. Riley and Rocket Music parted ways in May of 2015 when Rocket Music closed their North American operations.  Riley continues to build her songwriting skillset, building and original song catalog of over 300 songs that grows every month.

Riley continued to perform solo or with her band in Atlanta, Nashville, Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and France, logging over 350 paid performances before the age of 20. Using YouTube covers, many of which were self-produced live recordings, Riley organically built a huge social media following approaching 400 thousand fans, including over 278,000 YouTube subscribers and 76 thousand Facebook fans.

Striking out on her own after leaving Rocket Music, Riley decided to audition for Season 9 of the hit television show The Voice. As a member of Pharrell Williams’ and Gwen Stefani’s teams, Riley used powerful performances to become the first “one chair turn/twice stolen” artist to ever make the Voice Live Playoffs.

Riley was able to leverage this exposure into her first North American tour in Spring 2016, selected by the international booking agency CAA to be the opening act for Nick Carters All American tour that covered 10,000 miles, 22 cites and two countries in 32 nights, ending with two shows at City Winery in Nashville.  The tour featured performances at 4 different House of Blues Venues, as well as some of the most prominent upscale music theaters in the US.  While on this tour she released her first EP “To Me and You”

Upon completion of this tour, Riley went back into creative mode, splitting her time between writing new songs for her next music release in Los Angeles and performing locally in the Atlanta Market. In Spring of 2017 Edana Entertainment began booking Riley at shows throughout the southeast whenever she was not in LA.

In the summer of 2017 Riley submitted a cover of the Katy Perry song Firework to the YouTube original programming show produced by Ryan Seacrest, hosted by Ludacris.   She was selected as one of two finalists and won the opportunity to perform a duet with Katy Perry of the title track from her most recent album release Witness.   This show has over 4.5 million views in less than 2 months on YouTube.

In Fall 2017 Riley signed with the top line writer, producer and artist for Burbank CA based management company Pendustry and spent most of the last quarter working on new material in Los Angeles.  Riley made the decision that her career required a full-time presence in Los Angeles and moved there in Jan 2018 to work on her artist project.   She will continue to make occasional trips back to perform at venues throughout the southeast U.S.   Riley remains a popular draw for her enthusiastic fan base, appearing and touring on a national level.
